Responsibilities: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing shift leads, production department, injection molding, warehouse and related maintenance activities. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work group that is focused on safety, quality, customer service, people development, and producing a high-quality product. Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. This role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain a well-rounded base of experience in both operations and management. This is a true hands-on position; most of the time is spent on the production floor and hours will vary between swing and night shift. Successful candidate will be required to work one day either (Saturday or Sunday) as part of their regular work schedule. The pay range is ($63K - $70K) and compensation will be determined based on experience. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. * Must have 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment. * Previous experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer is a plus. * Knowledge with GMP's, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is preferred. * Knowledge of several lines of equipment, e.g., blow molder, fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors, injection molding and water processing. * Knowledge of SQF Code and requirements is preferred but not required. * Flexible hours to manage multiple shifts. * Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. * Supervisory experience is required * Experience with MS Office, Excel, and Power Point is required and J.D. Edwards software experience is preferred but not required. * Exceptional communication skills - oral and written. * HAACP and PCQI certified preferred but not required. Must be able to become HAACP and PCQI certified once employed. Essential Job Duties: * Assist with our annual SQF audit, including resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions. * Experience in training operators in equipment operational procedures. * Utilize our production resources in the most efficient manner possible. * Follow and execute our production schedule. * Ensure on time delivery of our products to all customers as dictated by the production schedule. * Set and enforce safety guidelines for all employees and provide training when needed. * Assist and develop SOPs when needed. * Enforce and maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the facility. * Provide proper maintenance and care of all machines, tools, forklifts, racks and all other equipment. * Communicate to other management team members any issues, concerns, and/or changes. * Complete all paperwork on time and accurately. * Must drive OEE through efficiency, performance and quality. * Verification of electronic time sheets for accuracy relating to hours worked by employees. * Supervise, direct, and motivate the efforts of personnel in the Production area of responsibility. * Other duties and responsibilities may be assign as needed.
