Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position open for a Full-Time Preventative Maintenance Technician to work on our fleet of garbage trucks and trailers in Fife, WA. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Overtime: Average of 3-10 hours per week Compensation: Starting pay: $29.00 - $30.25 per hour Shift differential: +$1.50 Total starting pay: $30.50 - $31.75 per hour Responsibilities Include: * Completes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times. * Ability to effectively communicate and understand service schedules and/or repairs * General shop maintenance/cleaning duties as needed * Equipment safety checks * Communicate with drivers for issues in the morning and afternoon * Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports * Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. * Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles, including yellow iron. Qualified candidates must have: * Experience in commercial or similar repair field is preferred but not required * Willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude * Driver's license * Basic tool set and toolbox * Basic computer skills and ability to learn test diagnostic laptop and software To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at .
