The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting all quality and safety standards. As a Production Supervisor, you will assist the Production Manager with managing a team of production employees, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. You will also be responsible for monitoring production schedules, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise, and ensuring that all production targets are met.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experienceAt least 3 years of experience in a production supervisory roleStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesExperience with production planning and scheduling softwareExperience with quality control and assurance processesResponsibilities:Reviewing/Auditing Files to ensure project feasibilityArranging for measure and inspection of productsEnsuring materials are ordered correctly and timelyEnsuring that the materials received are correct and notated in the system as receivedAssigning crews to complete projectOnboarding/Offboarding of subcontractors and other personnel in departmentScheduling project with customerEnsure proper, timely and accurate communication is being delivered from personnel within department to customerManaging schedule and workflow of project managersManaging and assigning punchouts and partial installs as necessaryResponding to customer escalations appropriately and timelyEnsuring that projects are paid in full at completion and collecting Accounts ReceivableEnsuring permits are closed after conclusion of projectReviewing, verifying and approving labor bills submitted by subs to ensure accuracyDelegating a portion of the above tasks to personnel within the department that report to youGenerally ensuring that our customers are being given the highest quality service Skills:As a Production Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage your team and work with other departments. You will also need excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to identify and address any issues that may arise during production. In addition, you will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records of production data. Finally, you will need to be proficient in the use of production planning and scheduling software, as well as have a strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
