Linde Engineering North America LLC Field Commissioning Manager The Woodlands, TX, United States | req21606 What you will enjoy doing* * In this role, you will develop and execute commissioning resource strategy, cost estimates, and schedules in support of proposals * You will participate in the review of P&ID's and control strategies in view of commissioning, start-up, and operation of process plants * Additionally, you will develop project commissioning plan, sequencer, and commissioning books to include relevant procedures, guidelines, Global best practices, and checklists * Coordinating field activities for sites in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases, including tracking and coordinating hand over of systems from construction to commissioning and commissioning to operations is part of your role * You will verify that mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and safety equipment and systems are mechanically complete * Work with construction QA/QC to identify and complete pre-commissioning and commissioning required inspection test reports and checklists for system handover * In this role you will lead troubleshooting efforts in support of field activities, interfacing with commissioning managers, construction and engineering to resolve issues encountered * Commission and start-up of equipment leading to a safe and stable operation of process plants * Further, you will develop and execute commissioning safety plan to prevent hazardous conditions for personnel and equipment * Preparing deliverables and participate in Gate 7 Commissioning and Gate 7A Start-up reviews is part of your role * You will interface with project managers and third parties to schedule internal and external resources needed for commissioning * You will be tasked with developing and implementing a scheduling tool to communicate with internal and external project personnel What makes you great * You have a 4 year B.S. Engineering degree * Additionally, you have at least 5 years of Commissioning or operational experience in hydrogen solutions, air separation, carbon capture, adsorption, gas processing, deep cryogenics, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fired process equipment or other relevant large industrial plants * Further, you have strong leadership, written and verbal communication, organization and planning, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Why you will love working with us Linde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
