QUALIFICATIONS * Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree form an accredited School of Veterinary Medicine * Three (3) or more years' exotic animal medicine experience, preferably in a zoological facility * License"¯to"¯practice"¯veterinary"¯medicine"¯in"¯Washington"¯State"¯or"¯obtained"¯within"¯three"¯(3)"¯months"¯of"¯hire."¯ Veterinarian,"¯Associate * DEA"¯license"¯to"¯use"¯Class"¯2"¯narcotics"¯or"¯obtained"¯within"¯three"¯(3)"¯months"¯of"¯hire. * USDA"¯category"¯II"¯accreditation"¯to"¯certify"¯health"¯for"¯interstate"¯and"¯international"¯transport"¯of"¯animals. * Membership"¯in"¯the"¯AZA"¯and"¯AAZV"¯at"¯a"¯professional"¯level. * ACZM Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred * Ability"¯to"¯complete"¯annual"¯TB"¯testing. * Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role. * Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid WA driver's license with a safe driving history.
