Overview The Account Executive Supervisor will be responsible for managing, coaching and developing the Account Executive sales team in their daily activities. This role will act as a player / coach in which they will be responsible for selling AIT's services to customers while training and leading the sales team in driving positive revenue results. Responsibilities * Hire, train and develop the account executive sales team to ensure company expectations are met & manager underperformance as necessary. Conduct weekly 1:1's in order to effectively coach and motivate the team through their key performance indicators (KPI's) and metrics, individual goals and career-pathing conversations * Prospect, plan, and execute sales calls & business development activities. Create and maintain a healthy pipeline by meeting with new prospective and existing clients * Participate and help complete pricing requests and requests for proposals (RFP's) * Consult with several levels of decision-makers and buying influences to understand their business challenges and offer customized solutions * Ensure alignment with company strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development * Partner with carrier sales, account management and customer service teams to develop and execute unique solutions in addition to supporting both onboarding & ongoing operational activities * Assist in the development of customer standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to effectively manage each customers' business * Maintain a strong commercial presence in the marketplace and be a subject matter expert to the team * Ensure customer accounts receivable (AR) is managed within AIT Truckload Solutions expectations * Performs other duties as assigned * Complies with all policies and standards * The wage range for this position is $81,216.67-$116,952.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience Qualifications Education• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required) or• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Experience• 3+ years of experience in truck brokerage or logistics industry (Required) and• 2+ years of people leading experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• General Truckload, OTR (over-the-road), LTL (less-than-truckload) and intermodal terms / info Low• Transportation Management System (TMS) Low• Presentation skills, negotiation and effective follow-up Medium• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Medium What AIT Can Offer You In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for commissions up to 6% based on specific sales goals and objectives (dependent on position).
