Title: Inventory/ICQA Specialist Department: Operations-InventoryReports to: Inventory Supervisor FLSA Classification: Non-exemptJob Summary:Inspire, guide, and develop a team by managing inventory, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence while driving operational efficiency through data-driven decision-makingSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Provide leadership by motivating and coaching a team of 3-5 associates, setting clear expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementUtilize advanced Excel functions and analytics tools to maintain accurate inventory management and track key performance metricsAnalyze data from the automated inventory system to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights to leadershipManage the process for the return of damaged materials and customer returns, ensuring data integrity throughoutAssist supervisors by allocating labor, leading shift start-up meetings, and maintaining clear communication across departmentsProactively diagnose workflow challenges, leveraging data analysis to develop and implement solutions that empower team membersTrack and report on labor hours, cycle time metrics, and other key performance indicators to measure team and individual successModel strong leadership by addressing productivity concerns with data-backed recommendations and supporting professional development among associatesEnsure compliance with SOPs and recommend updates based on operational insights and team feedbackLead safety initiatives and escalate violations to supervisors as necessary, promoting a safe and productive work environmentPartner with support functions and other departments to address systemic issues using data-driven and collaborative approachesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: Dynamic leadership with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and guide teams while presenting findings and solutionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and advanced formulas, as well as familiarity with data visualization toolsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable recommendationsGoal-driven and target-oriented, with a focus on long-term team and operational successExcellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and focus on accuracyStrong inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, computer, and mathematical skillsAbility to work independently and with a environmentEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or distribution logistics environment requiredMinimum 1 year experience with picking/packing, shipping and receiving, SKU systems and tracking requiredMinimum 1 year experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and barcode scanners, with a focus on optimizing usage through data analysis requiredNetSuite and/or Korber experience preferredPrevious leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferredAwareness of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing techniques and their application in leadership and data analysis preferredBi-lingual in English and Spanish preferredPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, team lift 40-75 pounds and push utility carts up to 60-100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the work shiftAbility to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundAbility to climb ladders and stairsAbility to perform repetitive tasksAbility to work in environment where temperatures can typically vary between 50°F and 100°FAbility to read labels, tags, paperwork and computer screensAbility to use lint rollers, scanners and box cuttersJob Type: Full-timeWork Hours: 6:30a-2:30p with flexibility to work weekends and inventory dates as
