The technical support specialist role is key to enabling successful day to day operations at the warehouse and supporting end users as a member of the four (4) person End User Servicesteam supporting New York City and New Jersey office and warehouse locations.Key Responsibilities:The technical support specialist is responsible for hardware and software technical support forwarehouse and office users working onsite and remote while providing a positive end userexperience. Hardware and software support consists of, but are not limited to the following:Hardware: Dell PC and laptops, MacBooks, iOS devices, PDT devices, various printer types, mobile carts, and video conferencing equipmentSoftware: Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS and iOS, Android, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, SOTI Mobile Device ManagementAdditionally, the technical support specialist is responsible for IT service management (incident,request, asset, and device lifecycle management), creating and maintaining documentation forthe Lyndhurst location, and collaborating with the End User Services, SCM IT, and businessteams on processes and projects.Qualifications:3+ years experience providing hands-on tier 2 technical support in an office and warehouse environment with a customer service oriented approach.Ability to take initiative and adapt while demonstrating a positive attitude, empathy and high energy while providing excellent customer service.Experience with incident, request, knowledge, and asset management processes and utilizing IT Service Management systems.Experience using Active Directory for user, group and computer managementExpertise in troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word issues & experience with Google’s productivity suite.Expertise in kitting and technical support of Windows (10, CE & Mobile) and iOS.Experience supporting MacOS kitting, troubleshooting OS, application, and network issues.Deep knowledge and understanding of managing and maintaining iOS and PDTdevices in MDM platforms.Experience in troubleshooting device network issues on Windows and MacOS, including but not limited to DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi connectivity, and TCP/IP stack.Deep knowledge in kitting and supporting conference room technologies, such as Google Room Kits.Expertise in creating, updating, and articulating technical documentation.Prior experience using remote tools to provide remote tier 2 technical support.Plus, prior experience supporting users of Supply Chain systems e.g. Bluecherry, UPS Worldship, and FedEx Ship Manager.Plus, prior experience supporting users with Application Delivery and VDI client technical issues e.g. Citrix XenApp and Amazon Workspaces.Plus, experience in providing hands-on support for label printers models such as Avery, Monarch & Zebra.To learn more about Fast Retailing, company culture, benefits and more go to:an Equal Opportunity Employer, Fast Retailing does not discriminate against applicants or employees because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, veteran status, disability, age, citizenship, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or because of any other status or condition protected by applicable federal, state or local law.Ensure your Fast Retailing US job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.
