Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Senior Vice President of Development to develop C&I renewable energy projects to financial close.Prepare detailed financial models, price PPA and Site Leases, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses to assess project returns and risk factors for both the client and investors.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact project finance activities and maintain up-to-date and market-based financial model inputs for all markets in which the company operates.Work hand-in-glove with the companies’ development personnel, assessing and filling development gaps as needed.Ensure the companies’ project data rooms adhere to the highest standards of excellence in thorough development documentation, organization, file naming, and accuracy. Coordinate project handoffs to the construction team and the asset management team at various project milestones, ensuring a smooth transition from project development to operations.Assist in client and investor relation activities, such as preparing and presenting client and investor presentations, conducting financial due diligence, and responding to client and investor inquiries.Discover, research, and understand new market opportunities including creating and analyzing new market project financial models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and project development, to ensure alignment and compliance with project finance requirements.Assist in developing tax equity and debt transaction capabilities for renewable energy project ownership including preparation of term sheets, investment memos, and other relevant documents for tax equity, and debt transactions.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.4+ years of experience in M&A analysis, project finance, investment banking, or a similar role within the renewable energy industry and preferably with C&I experience.Solid understanding of tax equity and debt financing structures, project finance principles, and renewable energy policies, with a strong desire to learn more and leverage direct deal experience.Comfortable working with complex financial models and strong knowledge base of investing and valuation concepts.Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key insights.Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Work Location: Remote/Hybrid Hawthorne, NJPfister Energy is committed to creating a diverse environment and is an equal-opportunity employer.
