Production Operator

Join our client onsite in Trenton, NJ as a Production Assembler. This is a direct placement role, not a temporary opportunityPay rate $20-24 per hourMedical Benefits effective Day 1! The Manufacturing Production Assembler will perform a combination of duties in assembly of final assembly components according to specifications, using hand and power tools, wiring diagrams, and following verbal and tablet instructions. Given the nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various team members.Duties and QualificationsEnsuring materials are available for production manufacturingInspecting and testing finished productsIdentifying problems with production or manufactured goodsCommunicating solutions for production challenges with quality assuranceAnalyzing machinery and tools to report faults or broken itemsKeep accurate production recordsFollow production schedules and ensure deadlines are metUtilize shipping and receiving programs (will train)Process orders from ticketing and shipping system (will train)Assembly department equipment knowledge and operating experience (i.e. - labelers, ink jets, coders, shrink wrap systems, heat tunnels, tape machines, conveyors, etc.)Data entry skills, experience and knowledge of using a computer systems is required Strong work ethic and flexibility to work OT as neededAbility to learn quickly and a willingness to ask appropriate questions as needed.Ability to read and apply written instructions from a manual, memos or short correspondence.
