Job description Responsible for supervision and management of field crews for assigned cell site. Accountable for managing the overall field performance, including scope, cost, safety, quality, schedule, implementation, and customer satisfactionROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not limited to the tasks that may be assigned.Serve as single-point of contact between project management and construction execution.Provide oversight during construction on all assigned construction projects.Direct and supervise all tower and civil foreman working on your assigned projects and provide leadership and guidance for crew members.Provide supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports.Perform Site walks, evaluate site conditions relative to scope of work and out of scope work and prepare cost estimates.Work with Field Construction Leads to develop detailed material lists and scope of services lists from RFDS’s and engineered drawings.Work in Project Manager in the market with Closeouts pictures and Rigging PlansMonitor and report performance of projects by ensuring full utilization of tracking tools and reports, observation of and attendance at progress meetings, and direct interaction with personnel and management for feedback.Ensure permitting, inspections and code compliance are completed as needed for each assigned project.Properly take Pre-Construction and Closeout photosPerform other duties as assignedSafety ExpectationsEnsure you and your team are working on a safe job site alwaysParticipate in completion of the JHA/toolbox talk daily reportsPPE must always be wornYour team must be tied off 100% of the timeBe familiar with the safety manual on site and know where it is located.Ensure there is a safety rescue kit, and it has all necessary equipment in it.Ensure there is a complete first aid kit, a working fire extinguisher and water on site.In case of emergency ensure the area is safe for you to be there, call 911 and report all incidents to your direct supervisor.Make sure worksite is always free of trash, debris, and trip hazards.Must always be drug and alcohol free on the job siteBelieves TARGET ZERO incident is achievable and is the expectation of the jobSuccess FactorsRespect and Courtesy of other team members and customers is requiredMay be required to work day, evening or night hours, overtime, weekends and out-of-town assignments.Able to travel in multiple states throughout the U.S. with or without notice to meet project deadlines. Must be able to stay deployed for the duration of the jobCommitment to ZERO incidents through leading by exampleComfort and ability to work at heights, including (but not limited to) on towers, ladders, aerial lifts, poles or rooftopsAbility to work well with a team or alone if necessaryWillingness and ability to work outside in all weather conditions and altitudesBasic computer skillsWork EnvironmentMust be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, hands over head and reach out.Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.Assume responsibility for work outcomes and results of other workers.May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinatedMay be exposed to common allergens on a regular basis including, but not Limited to- grass, trees, hay, straw, etc.Able to lift over 50 poundsExperience and EducationMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in the position/career field associated with Tower Construction Manager.Experience And Education/Required CertificationsClimber Certification/Rescue CardOSHA 30 CertificationAbility to climb up to 200+ftFirst Aid/CPR CertificationRF Awareness Training
