Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Revenue ManagementJob Type: Hybrid, Full-TimeSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMPay: $20Location: Onsite- Town & Country, Kendall location, followed by hybrid work.This role will require training onsite at the Town & Country location for 4-8 weeks before transitioning to hybrid work.Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Revenue Management team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to patients, attorneys, and both internal and external customers. You will assist with analyzing patient balances, validating information, resolving concerns, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. This position requires strong knowledge of healthcare revenue management, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.Key Responsibilities:Validate patient identities to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.Analyze patient balances and conduct detailed reviews of services billed.Verify correct patient, insurance, and demographic information.Identify customer concerns and assist in resolutions, coordinating with various departments such as Financial Assistance, Charge Review, Patient & Guest Services, Special Handling, and Claims Management.Answer incoming calls from patients, attorneys, and other stakeholders for all BHSF facilities.Apply knowledge of Managed Care contracts to submit contractual adjustments on accounts as needed.Utilize system resources to promptly resolve patient issues.Process, document, and manage incoming patient mail within a 7-10 day window.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma, Certificate of Completion, or GED required.Experience: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting within a call center environment.Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of medical terminology and revenue codes.Strong math, writing, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills.Language: Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).Ability to manage high call volumes, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of billing processes and revenue cycle management.Ability to handle difficult callers professionally and empathetically.Benefits:Weekly PayHoliday PayAfter 30days: Health, Dental, Vision, GAP, Short Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness and Life Insurance.Milestone Bonus of 40 hours for every 1200 hours.Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
