Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Part Time from 7AM-11AM

Apply Description Park Place of Elmhurst is a 5-star Assisted Living Community located in Elmhurst, IL and is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Part Time from 7AM - 11AM. Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). (8) shifts/pay period. Benefits: Summary of essential job functions: * Responsible to provide direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day-to-day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team. * Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders. * Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management. * Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients. * Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift. * Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident's treatment plan. Requirements * Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois. * Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical and Surgical setting. * Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required. * Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the reference check. Salary Description $29.60-$34.95/hour
