The primary responsibility of this role is to act as the internal liaison between Nordyne and the customer base, pro-actively dealing with customers to assure a high level of customer care by processing orders accurately, communicating product availability, order status, and ensuring resolution to problems. In addition, the position requires helping with parts identification, product information, and warranty coverage, status, and registration. This position also requires active participation to ensure the achievement of Nordyne core values of providing high levels of customer care.This position will serve our Nordyne Division, located in O'Fallon, MO. This is a hybrid position - on-site Monday through Thursday, with optional work-from-home Fridays after training period. Responsibilities Respond to calls and emails from individuals or businesses that do not have an active Nortek Global HVAC account; such as homeowners/end user, contractors, Manufactured housing retail lots. Assist customers with warranty-related inquiries, including registration, processes, authorizations, claims status, and coverage details. Handle in-house warranty processes in situations where no distributors are available, including processing no-charge parts requests. Process product registrations, make corrections to registrations as needed, and send confirmation emails for completed registrations. Provide product literature and warranty information to customers via email or print/mail upon request. Actively update knowledge and abilities in customer service by completing skills training, seeking feedback and adapting to new information and technologies. Collaborate and support other departments to streamline processes and contribute to customer success strategies. Uphold corporate values, mission, and guidelines as outlined in the associate handbook and company policies. Represent the Nortek Global HVAC Consumer Care group professionally to customers and internal teams, embodying the company's customer care values. Serve as a consumer care ambassador by demonstrating exemplary service and support. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Customer Success Manager.Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in customer service Demonstrates data entry skills. Technical knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with people inside and outside the Company in a professional and sincere manner. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
