To manage existing accounts through Digital fragrance library and create new business opportunities through market analysis and partnering with Business development team. This role will be based in our Teterboro, NJ location and will work 4 days on-site and 1 remotely. * Manage the process to qualify sales leads from the Symrise website as well as other lead initiatives. Determine the customer potential and opportunities with the BDD to either decline the opportunity or pursuer it. * Internal liaison between business development department and project managers across all business units and internal support teams (supply chain, customer service) to ensure that customer expectations are met. Meet regularly with business units to align project timelines and deliverables to the customer. Monitor and track major activities and project relating back to the business development function * Ensure project updates are captured in PACE, complete project debriefing, manage incoming sample requests, works with Business Development Director and Supply Chain to ensure successful commercialization of new wins. Responsible for the collection and timely distribution / communication of all data / documentation required by selected customers (Specs, Kosher MSDS, Allergen, Nutritional, etc). * Assists with the identification of high value business development targets which align with the goals and strategies of Symrise NA. This includes researching segments and companies Symrise has the right to win, assisting the Business Development Director in developing strategies and tactics to make contact with and grow target accounts. Ensures target customers are credit worthy with finance and completes proper set up in Symrise systems * In conjunction with Business Development Director and MSCI, Business Support will develop timely and robust customer communication strategies which leverage current tools and initiatives to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the business development department. This includes monitoring contacts on mail lists, articles, Symportal, proactive PDF, etc. * Leverage knowledge of customer base and Symrise capabilities to identify synergies between accounts; consult with Business Development Director on business trends with a view to developing new solutions of mutual benefit * Periodic travel to customers for meetings and relationship development. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends * Manage select accounts to drive new business opportunities JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * Four year degree preferred * Must have at least 3-5 years' experience with project management within the F&F industry * Can demonstrate strong communication skills. * Computer literate with strong skill in all MS applications * Entrepreneurial drive, tenacity and personal energy * Strategic ability with commercial and business acumen * Consumer, market and marketing understanding and awareness. * Good judgment and decision making * Planning, coordinating and organizing * Good communication skills and is able to build rapport with a wide range of people Become part of our open and transparent culture.
