Our Project Manager position will provide you with the opportunity to manage exciting projects in both brown field and green field oil & gas refining projects. As an important team leader, you will assist in the development of the business case for solving a problem or pursuing an opportunity, identifying options for a potential project, leading the conceptual engineering effort. As projects are sanctioned, you will participate in the management of the design, coordination, execution and supervision of the technical aspects, procurement activities, scheduling and cost control of your projects. You should be a self-motivated, detailed oriented Project Manager with at least 5-7 years of solid project and managerial experience in oil & gas, and refining projects. Responsibilities: * Participates in or leads all phases of project execution from Front-End Loading (FEL) activities (feasibility and conceptual engineering) including Appraise and Select Stages of project development through Construction closeout and handover to operations . * Works closely with customer project teams to collaborate on project definition and scope development for planning and funding activities. * Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task. * Acts as the Company representative with the customers and selected suppliers during project execution. * Establishes requirements of the project and monitors the draft and final adherence to these criteria. * Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process. * Be an effective mentor for staff, from both a technical and business perspective. * Participates and or lead proposal development for all phase of project execution. * Work effectively without direct supervision, interface with a variety of people and manage competing demands. * Develop effective project execution plans using Worley's processes and tools. Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity. * Willingness to travel to project jobsite. * Mobilizes Company resources through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective quality work. * Assists in developing budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of projects monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the project including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule. * Assists and oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan and other documents. * Follows all Company, Client, safety and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed. What you will bring Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: * Minimum 2 years engineering experience and 3 years as a project engineer in refining projects. * Experience managing E and EP contract delivery. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable and effective both up and down within the organization. * Experience with developing TIC estimates. * Solid working knowledge of oil and gas refining businesses. * Technical background with a mix of office and field experience; preferably with both consulting and operating companies. Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: * BA/BS degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar from accredited college or university is required.
