Our young clients, aged birth through 21, often rely on medical technologies such as tracheostomies, ventilators, or gastrostomy tubes.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Compensation and Benefits:Competitive PayFlexible Working HoursPositive Work EnvironmentLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersAccurately monitor and track clients' overall health and medical history during every visitTake and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasksVerify clients are taking the correct dosages of medicationsHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesRemain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergenciesProvide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree in nursing1+ years' nursing experience preferredCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) CertificationCurrent LPN license in the stateAccess to reliable transportationAbility to work independently and with directionsWillingness to work evenings and weekends as neededExceptional customer service skillsCompassionate and friendly demeanorWe offer a $1000 cash referral fee for children on Medicaid who could benefit from medical care at home. We assist with enrolling children from neonatal age up to 21 years old in the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), a Pediatric Medicaid Waiver program. If a child is already enrolled in GAPP, we provide a seamless transfer process for the following month.
