Customer Support Specialist

This role is pivotal in providing administrative support to our sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a temporary-to-hire position located near Clifton Park, NY.Responsibilities of the Customer Support Specialist will include:Accurately process customer orders received via email or phone, verifying lead times, pricing, and committed ship dates.Set up and onboard new customer accounts while maintaining accurate records.Actively communicate with customers to address inquiries, obtain missing information, and keep them informed on order statuses.Manage CRM data, including lead, account, contact, and opportunity entries, to support the sales team.Take ownership of the Pending Order Tracker system to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.Collaborate with customers to adjust order quantities, delivery dates, and resolve past-due orders with recovery plans.Assist with field claims by entering data into the RMA tracker and serving as a backup for the primary process.Provide feedback from customer interactions to Sales and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement.Stay informed about new products and features to enhance customer support and industry knowledge.Job RequirementsQualifications of the Customer Support Specialist:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide a positive customer experience.Proficiency in basic Excel functions.Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $22-$25/hr, DOE.To see a full listing of all our open positions, please visit: Recruiting is the region's premier recruiting agency with over 100 years of combined experience in the recruiting field.
