Housekeeping/Laundry Staff Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. Change bed linens, replace towels, and maintain a neat and orderly appearance in rooms. Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry items following established procedures. Sort and separate items based on colors, fabrics, and cleaning requirements. Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly. Assist in setting up rooms for residents/guests as needed. Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies. Adhere to health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment. Interact professionally with residents, guests, and team members, addressing inquiries and concerns. Housekeeping/Laundry Staff Qualifications: High school diploma Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry services is preferred. Physical stamina for tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and laundry care. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Efficient time management skills to meet cleaning and laundry schedules.
