Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. Inventory Associate Summary This job requires daily monitoring and evaluating of all inventory in VGM fulfillment. Working with a team to count, store, and fill locations with products so that shelves are consistently filled within the facility. Inventory associates are responsible for making sure product is appropriately stocked on the shelves. This will include doing active replenishments on the scanner regularly, as well as consolidating any extra product on the floor. Working Hours: Monday-Friday;1st Shift 6:00am-3:30pm Working Location: Onsite, Phoenix warehouse Key Responsibilities * Maintain all locations in the facility. * Learn how to navigate company programs like AX. * Pick location slotting analysis. * Update item classification. * Perform scheduled cycle counts. * Monitor and document the quality station for production. * Handle all return to stock items in the facility. * Handle all vendor communication regarding discrepancies. * Perform inventory adjustments based on calls from the production floor. * Unpicking orders. * Run transaction report to track down missing inventory. * Manage the replenishment templates. * Audit a percentage of bulk orders. * Locating any missing product or license plates that are brought to attention. * Sending weekly adjustment reports to Sunset and Fisher and Paykel every Monday * Updating the inventory adjustment log weekly * Sending an updated tracing report to Res Med every Monday * Track and record inventory variance data ensuring it keep within our acceptable contractual variance levels * Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business. * Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds. * Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management. * Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives. * Demonstrate accurate verbal and written communication skills. * Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities * While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to assist with other departmental functions upon request. * Embody the VGM Power of One Principles Key Qualifications * Ability to multitask and prioritize * Previous leadership and/or training knowledge * High school education Physical Requirements: * Standing and walking throughout the facility * Operation of warehouse machinery and equipment * Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision * Strict adherence to all safety standards This job description reflects the general duties of the job but is not a detailed description of all duties which may be inherent to the position.
