Occupational Therapist Supervisor

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Supervisor to provide individual and department supervision (in-direct/direct/"Under the Direction of") for the OTs. *OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*Sets up and managing of caseloads.Department meetings.Provide staff development opportunities.Review documentation.Provide oversight of documentation by all clinicians.Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff.Ensure compliance to departmental policies and procedures. *OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REQUIREMENTS:*Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy; Master's degree or higher preferred.New York State Occupational Therapist licensureNBCOT certificationMinimum of 5 year of related clinical experience.Thorough knowledge in OT evaluation and treatment; the ability to evaluate information against a set of standards; understand and implement OT treatment and modalities; full knowledge in the use of environmental modifications, ambulatory aids, and therapeutic exercises. *ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:*Pet insuranceAuto savings membershipIdentity theft protectionAuto & home insuranceLegal insuranceHospital insuranceAccident insuranceCritical illness insuranceTerm life and short-term disability insurance *EEO/AA/M/F/Vets/Disabled**The League Education and Treatment Center is a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities.
