Director of Grants & Contracts NY

Overview:The Director of Grants will lead the organization's grant acquisition and management efforts, advancing our clients mission to serve underserved communities. Our client provides critical social services, including family support, housing, and immigration assistance, to communities across New York City. This role includes identifying funding opportunities, writing proposals, managing reporting compliance, and fostering relationships with grantors.Responsibilities:Develop and implement grant strategies to secure funding for the networks programs.Generating and submitting monthly billings, preparing invoices to funders.Preparing AR schedules, reconciliations to the GL, and investigating discrepanciesOversee grant reporting, compliance, and renewal processes.Build and maintain relationships with funders, government agencies, and stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Proven track record in grant writing and management.Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
