The highly-touted South Korean hospitality company known as Glow Seoul makes another impact in the tri-state area with a traditional Korean-style café known as Cheong Su; opening soon in Fort Lee, NJ and is looking for the most amazing Baker! Job Description: As a Baker at Cheong Su, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and other baked goods. You'll work with high-quality ingredients to produce products that meet our standards of taste, texture, and appearance. You'll also ensure that our bakery is clean, organized, and operates smoothly. Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes and ensure the consistent quality and presentation of all products. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules. Ensure that baked goods are fresh, attractive, and ready for display or customer orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the kitchen. Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies. Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures. Work efficiently to meet production goals, especially during peak hours. Collaborate with the team to develop new baked goods or seasonal offerings. Assist with packaging and labeling products for retail or customer orders. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or in a similar baking role preferred (but not required). Knowledge of baking techniques and methods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
