Purchasing ManagerResponsibilities of Purchasing Manager:Lead, develop, and support a team of at least two Buyers.Lead supplier sourcing and negotiations for Military componentsImplement supplier agreements as required.Perform Make vs. Buy analysis.Actively participate/lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR's)Measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to ensure continued success towards local and corporate goals - Purchase price Variance (PPV), Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Freight SpendSecond source critical suppliers for make components.Track commodity trends and interface with Military Sales team to ensure costs align to support expected margin for contracts.Manage safety stock, lead-times, MOQ's for assigned locations.Support the Corporate SIOP process as required.Support ISO 9001& AS-9100 auditsTravel is required with this position.Preferred Experience of Purchasing Manager: 5+ years supervisory experience required, Supply Chain or PurchasingWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 & AS-9100 is required.ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)DFARS/FAR experienceGovernment sourcing contract experienceExperience in - machined parts, sheet metal, cable, and connectorsGood communication skills both written and verbal.Process oriented, high-level sense of urgencyGood business sense and capability to develop a vision and/or strategy#LI-GW1#INNOV2024
