Apply now and take the next step in your tax career with our client!About the firm: A leading accounting firm specializing in tax and advisory servicesCollaborative and growth-oriented environmentDiverse client base, ranging from individuals to large corporationsOpportunity to provide comprehensive tax solutionsStrong focus on professional development and career growthCommitment to work-life balanceResponsibilities of the Tax Manager:Provide leadership and guidance to a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of tax services.Manage and oversee tax compliance and planning engagements for a portfolio of clients, including but not limited to corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.Conduct thorough tax research and analysis, staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to identify potential tax planning opportunities and mitigate risks.Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and proactively identifying additional service opportunities.Collaborate with other departments and professionals within our client's firm to provide integrated and holistic solutions to clients' tax and business needs.Assist in the training and mentoring of junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.Stay informed about changes in tax legislation, emerging tax issues, and industry best practices, and communicate relevant updates to clients and internal stakeholders.Participate in business development activities, such as attending industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings, to promote our client's tax services and identify new business opportunities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning within a public accounting firm, with a focus on corporate and individual -depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, and the ability to apply them to client situations effectively.Proven track record in managing and successfully completing multiple tax engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative tax solutions to clients' complex issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing junior tax professionals.Proficiency in tax software and technology tools, such as CCH ProSystem fx, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, and Microsoft Excel.High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.CB: #CBMAY2023
