RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Retention & Relationship Management * Maintain a 95% customer retention rate through personalized service. * Foster positive, long-term relationships, consistently achieving high customer satisfaction. * Handle challenging or unsatisfied customers confidently and competently. 25% Account Management & Customer Service * Act as the main point of contact for clients: sell products, resolve issues, answer questions, and educate customers on coverages. * Proactively anticipate service needs and address coverage gaps based on knowledge of the customer's business. * Follow through on client commitments despite obstacles or time pressures. 20% Policy & Coverage Administration * Prepare, present, and review proposals, insurance summaries, submissions, quotes, and schedules. * Process and monitor policy changes, premiums, audits, claims, endorsements, and cancellations. * Ensure timely communication with carriers regarding renewals, quotes, and issues. 15% Account Rounding and Marketing * Achieve annual production goals through account rounding, cross-selling, and identifying referral opportunities. * Explore coverage gaps and recommend solutions, such as risk management tools or additional coverages. * In-house marketer for accounts between $15k and $50k * Work with CL team to gather remarketing info, identify markets, and place 20% Carrier Relations & Market Knowledge * Keep up to date with carrier appetites and market changes. * Place business with preferred carriers and use carrier websites effectively for quoting. 10% Administrative Tasks & Systems Management * Maintain organized computer files, EPIC home screen, and Outlook inbox. * Monitor own work for quality to avoid errors and omissions. 5% Professional Development * Attend sales seminars, meetings, and educational activities to stay informed about industry trends and regulations. 5% QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred. * Insurance experience required.
