We are looking for a Project Manager to join our FE_WIBU team in Easley, SC. Customer service is essential for the success of our company. The project management for new business works closely with sales management and account managers to develop best customer service practices for all aspects of customer support. They will be responsible for Sulzer Pumps Solutions, Inc. management of domestic and international project orders. They will have extensive technical product knowledge and experience in key market segments. They will support direct sales and customers as the key contact from tendering stages through shipment of equipment from the Easley manufacturing location. Your main tasks and responsibilities: * Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen customer relationships and build a knowledge base of each customer's business, organization, and objectives. * Deals with customers and Accounts Managers concerning matters that require discretion and judgment. Reviews pump applications and selections and offers technical support as appropriate. * Supports the preparation of tenders which fit the criteria for Project Management by reviewing project related technical and commercial specifications. * Reviews Terms & Conditions (T's & C's) against Sulzer standard T's & C's and for compliance with Sulzer Ten Golden Rules. Responsible for having customer's T's & C's reviewed by Sulzer Legal when different than Sulzer standard T's & C's. * Reviews customer purchase orders and specifications and determines whether they are in agreement with the scope of Sulzer tender, pricing and technical capabilities. Prepares all relevant information required to enter the order into ERP system. * Coordinates, oversees, and tracks projects through receipt, procurement, production and delivery. Ensures that all technical specifications are communicated to manufacturing and other departments as needed. Expedite as necessary to secure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. * Keeps customer and sales account manager apprised of status of project management orders during production with documented records, including milestone reports as required. Responsible for coordinating the production, collection, submission, and filing of relevant order documentation per customer requirements. * Sets and manages customer expectations with effective communication to identify needs and solutions. * Receives and responds to requests from customers for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations. * Acts as factory host during customer visits, witness tests and inspections for project management orders. Coordinates and directs upcoming visits with production management personnel. * Always acts in compliance with Sulzer Delegation of Authority, Sulzer Code of Business Conduct, and relevant legal requirements, including but not limited to export regulations. To succeed in this role, you will need: * Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management, Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred) or five (5) plus years related experience in pumps and hydraulics, plus process knowledge within Sulzer target market segments. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, understanding of manufacturing practices, geometric dimensions and tolerances, mechanical drawing interpretation and the metric system. * Aptitude for learning and using SAP, STARS and ABSEL. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language. * Meticulous in attention to detail and recordkeeping is required. * Thorough familiarity with industry, national and international standards and tests as applied to the manufacture, operation, and delivery of centrifugal process pumps within Sulzer target market segments. Thoroughly familiar with Sulzer technical capabilities related to such standards and tests. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. * Willingness to travel as needed. * Positive attitude, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal communication, and time management skills. Ability to use judgment and discretion to make independent decisions. Team player.
