Description Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a part-time Produce Stocker/Fruit Cutter to join the Ottsville team! Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week Shifts Available: Sunday 10am-6:30pm, Monday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 hourly to start. Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. DAILY OPERATIONS: The Produce Stocker/Fruit Cutter's primary responsibilities to execute the following. * Provide exceptional customer service to all. * Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. * Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis. * Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. * Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. * Understands KWF inventory management practices. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: * Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) - the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. * Lifting, gripping and carrying objects - up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. * Stooping, squatting, & kneeling - stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. * Walking - short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. * Standing- prolonged standing. * Work environment - movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). * Climate - ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
