Due to the growth their company has expanded recently, they're looking to continue growing out their ~ 400 employee facility.Job DescriptionThis role is First Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday You will report directly into the Plant Manager and be responsible for:Overseeing 60-80 production employeesProviding strategic leadership and direction for all plant operations, encompassing production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management.Developing and executing production plans, budgets, and strategies to meet operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.Leading and mentoring a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.Implementing and upholding rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.Driving process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and boost overall plant performance.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and timely production schedules.Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, proactively addressing any production-related issues or concerns.Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
