JOB SUMMARYCumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled plant Maintenance Technicians responsible for the care and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.Cumberland Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. SCHEDULE: Weekly Sunday - Wednesday (12 hour shifts)Night Shift Schedule 6pm-6:30amBENEFITS:401(k) with company contributionCompetitive payPaid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities - we promote from within!Comprehensive healthcare benefitsService recognition and employee appreciation eventsEmployee referral programTuition reimbursementUniforms providedWork for dairy farm familiesREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED requiredThree years of experience required in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facilityBlack Seal, High Pressure Boiler License preferred, preferably food and beverage industryMinimum one year experience with one or more technical experiences: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVACMinimum one year experience with a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipmentMust be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checksMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsMust be able to read, speak, and write in EnglishMust be able to legibly write entries for record keepingMust be able to handle basic hand toolsMust be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift; occasionally required to climb or balanceMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 poundsMust be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidayAn Equal Opportunity Employer
