Overview Critter Control Operations (CCO) is seeking a driven and skilled District Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and lead a team of technicians responsible for wildlife exclusion and repair services for residential and commercial properties. You will be directly involved in ensuring a high level of service quality, driving team performance, and maintaining compliance with safety and technical policies. Responsibilities Critter Control Operations (CCO) is a leading provider of wildlife management services. We specialize in wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair for residential and commercial properties. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and responsible solutions to nuisance wildlife and pest problems. What type of benefits will you receive? What does a day in the life look like? Lead and train a team of technicians to deliver high-quality wildlife exclusion and pest control services, ensuring that all service standards are met. Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and monitor the quality-of-service delivery. Manage routing and scheduling to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency, balancing workloads across the team. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of new team members, fostering their development and maintaining service excellence. Oversee service fleet maintenance within the district, ensuring vehicles are properly serviced and operational at all times. Act as a resource for service and customer satisfaction, addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and working to improve customer retention. Cover open routes and jobs when necessary due to employee vacations or turnover, maintaining continuity of service. Manage district chemical orders and wildlife control supplies, ensuring all materials are adequately stocked and properly managed (M&S management). Monitor and manage accounts receivable in partnership with the District Manager to ensure timely payments and account resolution. Conduct regular ride-alongs with technicians, providing real-time feedback and ongoing training to support continuous improvement. Ensure employee licensure and assist with renewals, ensuring all district employees are in compliance with state regulations. Qualifications What do you need to be successful? High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus Valid driver's license Must be available to travel up to 10% Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA within 60 days of start date Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields Ability to work in the field independently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency in using several types of software and applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus What does the work environment look like? We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories. Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.). Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely. Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently. Capability to carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures (Traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
