The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate position is to service all aspects associated with the daily functional inventory control in the distribution center or warehouse, including moves, cycle counts, helping both inbound and outbound associates, processing damages and all discrepancy reconciliationResponsibilitiesPerform Cycle CountsProcess DamagesReport all Inbound Discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor or ManagerAssist Operators with Any and All Discrepancies and System IssuesPrepare for and Assist with Annual Physical InventoryQualificationsKnowledge of or ability to learn SAPKnowledge or ability to learn HighJump Warehouse Advantage system and/or customer operating systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and 365)Basic computer skillsAbility to handle reoccurring problemsBasic math skillsAbility to multi-task.Ability to perform work in a highly detailed and color-coded mannerAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering informationStrong verbal & written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work within a teamAbility to read labels and numbersAbility to operate in high speed and fast-paced environmentAbility to work without supervisionAbility to follow instructions as directed by the supervisorHigh School Diploma or equivalentOne year of previous warehouse administrative experienceForklift experience, preferredLeadership experience, a plusWMS (Warehouse Management Systems) system experience, a plusPrior RF Unit experience, a plusCompetitive CompensationCovenant's compensation philosophy's intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company.
