Field Technician

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services. We are seeking multiple Field Technician I and Field Technician II for our AMI group located in NY. Duties for these variable seasonal positions include installations and removals of electric meters, single phase 240 V or less. Additional duties may include inventory and Connex Box management. Salary Range: * Field Tech I: $25/hour * Field Tech II: $28/hour The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Responsibilities (Field Tech I & II): * Test voltage with a voltmeter. * Use of an Ipad to document the meter installation/exchange. * Ensure the safe operation of the company vehicle, equipment, and tools during the job. Includes maintaining a clean vehicle. * Loading and unloading supplies for daily activities. * Completing tasks within time frames set by the Field Supervisor and Project Manager. * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Ability to work over the shoulders and with various obstructions to the meter and in basements. * Submit weekly timesheets on time. * Interact with courtesy and professionalism with client customers. * Other duties as assigned by the field supervisor.
