Located in the West Village, Barbuto is a bustling restaurant serving California-inspired Italian dishes to a neighborhood clientele as well as visitors from around the world. Responsibilities include: Ideally looking for a candidate with experience cooking pasta! Food preparation: Washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning ingredients Cooking: Baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking Plating: Creating finished products that are tasty, attractive, and properly cooked Cleaning: Keeping food preparation equipment clean, including grills, broilers, ovens, steamer tables, mixers, microwave ovens, and toasters Safety: Following facility safety programs and conducting work tasks safely Customer service: Responding to customer orders and providing courteous service to guests, coworkers, and residents
