Know Your Rights: Responsibilities The Field Service Specialist III -CT provides specialty medical equipment services under minimal supervision of BSI management. This individual is fundamentally skilled as a logical thinker and problem solver, primary duties include, but are not limited to, performing preventive maintenance inspections, installation support, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance on specialty CT medical equipment. Secondary duties include providing equipment maintenance support on general medical equipment, as needed. This individual shall be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of the duties and have a strong mechanical ability to be able to teach and coach others. The FSS III will ensure compliance with changes in regulations, policies and procedures set by national and state regulatory bodies to the team. Substantial background in performing risk assessments, inventory control and escalated customer issues. Responsible to ensure that all scheduled work is accomplished on time, customer needs are met, and the day-to-day operations impacting revenue are communicated as needed and appropriate resources are utilized to minimize any service interruptions. This individual contributes to department improvement and collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers. Maintains a department "culture" that is patient-focused and participates in teamwork, quality, integrity and professional growth upholding the Prime Healthcare Mission and Vision at all times Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Associates degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent military education with minimum of 20 years' experience repairing CT equipment in a field service environment. 2. Certification repairing CT equipment required. 3. Working knowledge of computers and networking. 4. Knowledge of Associated tools and test equipment. 5. Demonstrate mechanical diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills in a timely manner. 6. Familiar with the Healthcare Industry understanding roles in various department and users. 7. Support policies and procedures of Prime Healthcare. 8. Professional appearance and behavior. 9. Communicate effectively, share knowledge, proactively complete tasks, and cooperate in a team environment. 10. Maintain a valid DL with good driving record. 11. Travel to Prime Healthcare Hospitals in California and possible repair outside California as required
