WinnCompanies is looking for a Maintenance Technician III to join our a team at Madison Park, a 791-unit affordable housing community located in Roxbury, MA. In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots. This job requires a highly diversified base of knowledge and skills needed to maintain the property to satisfy ownership and management objectives. Your strong expertise in maintenance trade and Lead Maintenance Technician for Technicians I and II. This opportunity offers a typical work schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with an on-call rotation of every 9 weeks. Responsibilities * Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Lead and train Maintenance Technicians I and II. * Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures. Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market-ready in accordance with company standards. * Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in leading and assisting the completion of the preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspections, and annual unit inspections. * Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities. * Be available for on-call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need. Requirements * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * 3-5 years of relevant work experience. * General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance and HVAC. * Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites. * A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities. * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment. Preferred Qualifications * CAMT certification. * Bilingual in Spanish and English. * Vocational or technical training. * EPA, HVAC, Asbestos, or Lead-Based Paint certifications.
