In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Office. This role reports to the Business Manager/Controller and works with the Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Associates.As a Front Desk Associate, you will be expected to:Provide outstanding customer service through customer communication, appearance, name tag, and proper approved uniformBe on time and prepared to work at the start of the scheduled shiftAnswer phones at the front desk and direct calls to appropriate departmentsGreet customers coming in and say goodbye on the way outDirect customers to their desired programs and eventsHelp customers book first time lessonsTake attendance for drop-in programming as required to ensure all customers have paidMaintain clean workspacesHave working knowledge of POS system for all sales types, cash and creditEfficiently process payments made at the Front DeskHave working knowledge of rink management software relating to customer accounts and daily rink scheduleUnderstandopening and closing drawer proceduresPerform other business-related duties deemed necessary by the Business Manager/Controller and Front Desk ManagerThis is not comprehensive list of responsibilities, which can change at any time at the discretion of your supervisor. QualificationsAbout You:You are punctual, professional, and courteous. You are an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are able to multi-task during high activity times. You have a strong attention to detail and are organized.
