Location: 2700 Greens Road, Houston, Texas, 77032 (adjacent to George Bush Intercontinental Airport)Abby's Catering has been providing one-of-a-kind culinary and hospitality experience since opening in 1980. Celebrities, government officials, head of states, secretaries, industry leaders, all traveling out of Houston aboard private, corporate, and commercial aircrafts are part of Abby's valued circle of customers. Abby's also provides exclusive gourmet delights for corporate offices, private and corporate events as well as food service management contracts. Position: Our Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact and the last point of contact regarding ordering placement, order feedback, order revisions, and order cancellations. The CSR ensures that all orders are processed accurately and with the highest service quality. Abby's food creations are a 'passport' to a culinary journey of cultural and diverse preferences. Innovation, trend-setting menus, highest customer satisfaction is Abby's Catering signature. Reports to: Customer Service Manager To him/her report: N/A Requirements, but not limited to: Essential functions: The Private & Corporate Aviation CSR responsibilities are listed below but not limited to just the following:• Processing catering orders• Promptly answer the telephone within three rings using a smiling happy voice and utilizing the company script on how to answer phone calls• Promptly and efficiently answer all requests for orders via email• Liaison between the culinary team and the customer order, ensuring all order details are correctly transcript into the detailed work orders for the culinary department (hot/cold food & pastry departments)• Review all orders for any specialty shopping items• Required to maintain and foster relationships with existing and new customers• Self-Manage time to complete workload during your shift• Communication is critical not just externally to our customers however as equally important internally among each other in the CSR department, Management, and other department heads as necessaryRequirementsQualifications• Shift flexibility, working weekends, holidays, and early and late hours• Proven experience in customer service phone attendance• Fluent English speaker, Spanish speaking is a plus• Excellent presentation and communication• A culinary background is a plus• 1-2 years of experience in a high-end customer service environment• Being well versed in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office• Highly flexible and analytical, pro-active player & reliable transportation• Good knowledge of food and hygiene standards, valid Food Handler Certificate is a plus (e.g., ServSafe)• Meticulous time manager with the ultimate attention to detailCompany Core Values: You must be willing to embrace our Company Core Values in the way you dedicate yourself to work:CATCH• Customer Service• Accountability• Teamwork• Competitiveness• HonestyOur Mission: "To continue to be the leading in-flight and corporate catering company serving the Houston & Dallas Metro market by using locally sourced and sustainable raw ingredients, providing the most memorable and personalized attention to detail all while maintaining a fiscally sound budget and complying with the highest food safety standards."
