This position is part of the overall Andersen Tax Operations team. Primary responsibilities will be to respond to Andersen Tax help desk tickets, troubleshoot technology issues and work on various projects which will require clear understanding of Microsoft Windows Server.Demonstrate a high level of client service and participate in Help Desk ticket management.Provide support to systems users on a variety of issues with internal and external applications.Identify, research, and resolve basic to complex technical problems.Provide advanced trouble shooting to support employees.Manage on-going deployment, updates and prioritization of various application upgrades or development.Handle various IT projects on an ad hoc basis.Administer new hire technology needs.Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows networks, Apple workstations, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; add or upgrade and configure disk drives, printers, and related equipment.Perform and/or oversee software and application installation and upgrades.Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems and other applications; assists users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems.Provide computer orientation to new and existing company staff.Manages multiple on-going projects.Willing to participate in an on-call rotation.Must be available after business hours to address critical issues and/or deployments.Regional travel required at firm expense to Metro New York office locations.Compensation and Benefits Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York, the expected hourly rate for this non-exempt role is $42.00 per hour to $49.04 per hour; the actual hourly rate can vary based upon employee qualifications. Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm's 401(k) plan upon hire. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Information Technology preferred; Bachelor degree in Business acceptable; applicable certifications acceptable;Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 required;At least 3 years of relevant work experience;Experience with Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Mobile devices and general PC Hardware knowledge;Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;Solid communication skills, both written and verbal;Strong attention to detail, flexibility, able to handle multiple tasks in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environment; strong organizational skills;Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal personnel; andBasic understanding of networking and network-related hardware, examples include: LAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Router, and SwitchApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
