Responds to Social Work, RN Case Manager, patient, and customer complaints and grievances. Takes accurate messages, problem solves where applicable and forwards messages to appropriate party as directed. Enters patient referral information into the Allscripts system including patient demographics, diagnosis and plan of care. Sends tasks to Team Assistants for Insurance Verification and to vendor services for DME and HHA. Verifies that all new physicians license numbers, that NPI number is registered, and checks for duplicate physician entries before entering into Allscripts. Contacts Physicians, Clinics, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, sub-acute facilities to develop, maintain, and follow-up on pending and/or new referrals. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 6 months call center experienceIntake experience preferredMicrosoft Word and Excel requiredSTAT, Omni/MISYS preferredStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
