The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join our team on days. The Production Coordinator supports manufacturing and is responsible for physical and systematic control of hardware within the manufacturing cell. This includes processing multiple material related transactions in the company SAP system to release, issue, transfer, receive, etc. hardware within the manufacturing facilities. Duties include but are not limited to: * Distribution of materials to one or more production or assembly areas * Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements * Assists other production workers, coordinators, and managers as required, instructed or requested * Identifies and communicates all shortages/discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy * Labeling parts allowing the receiving party to quickly identify what's in the kit * Tracing and tracking parts located in various manufacturing cells and or stages of production * Releases orders, issue orders, receive and close orders, and process stock transfer orders * Processes miscellaneous material transactions including location changes, scrap, cycle count adjustments, etc. * Supports tracking earned hours on processes of cell * May operate hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies * May be required periodically to operate a hi-lo * Strives to accomplish team goals following established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards and regulations Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role with materials or stocking * Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment required * Must be detailed oriented, self-starter, and able meet deadlines * Ability to understand and follow a set of clear oral and/or written procedures without deviation * Ability to interact with cross-functional disciplines; possess good customer skills * Hi-Lo experience is a plus * Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches). * US. Citizenship is required. * Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
