With capabilities to see the big picture, yet still have good attention to detail are required to ensure projects are completed on-time, in scope and within budget. Technical knowledge and experience with the overall elements of robotics design and the IC industry. Experience and knowledge about the organization and its business challenges. Job Responsibilities * Ensure that projects are completed on-time, on-budget and to-spec. * Lead/facilitate the project team through the process of clearly defining the project scope, objectives, key stakeholders, constraints, and risks. * Develop the Project Charter and obtain its approval with project sponsors and stakeholders. * Acquire, with the support of project sponsor(s), the resources needed to successfully perform all project activities. * Adjudicate between technical and business alternatives that pertain to the project, and lead the project team to reach consensus about the project scope and schedule. * Lead the project team to establish commitments to accomplish their work, and hold project team members accountable to keep their commitments. * Lead the project team through the on-going project control process to: * Continuously monitor project performance with respect to quality, time and cost * Proactively identify/diagnose problems and take timely corrective action as required * Manage crises and provide conflict resolution in an expert and professional manner. * Provide technical expertise/direction as required. * Clearly communicate project status on a regular basis to the internal project customer, project sponsors, and other interested parties. * Other project/organization-specific responsibilities as required (e.g., produce specific activity deliverables, approve purchase requests and travel requests, general administrative functions, etc.) Minimum Degree Required Bachelor's degree [BS, BA] Master's degree a plus [MBA, MS] Minimum Qualifications Experience/Education: * 2-5 years of Project / Program Management experience with gradually increasing responsibilities ideally in Robotics/Electronics Engineering or related fields * Previous exposure to Project Success Method (PSM) techniques. * PMP/CAPM certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications * Self-confident, proactive, and willing to assume a leadership role, especially in ambiguous situations with cross functional teams who do not report in direct manner to the project manager. * Experience leading multi-site initiatives, each with competing needs for resources and aggressive timelines. * In depth knowledge and understanding of the project management methodologies processes and tools required to meet project/business needs. * Attention to detail with the maturity to know which areas selectively needs attention to detail. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. * Comfortable working on projects in multiple regions, locations and time zones. * Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability to achieve targeted goals and objectives. * Highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision; ability to multitask. * Team player with good leadership and people skills; able to manage and resolve conflicts. * Able to motivate a technical/engineering team to be action oriented, set priorities, solve problems, and keep commitments. Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 25% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The wage range for a new hire into this position is $84,400 to $116,050. * Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors. * This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. * This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
