Field Service Engineer

* Position will travel to different PPOC office locations in Newton, Wellesley, Cambridge, Revere, Chelsea and Everett. May need to support practices outside of normal region depending on need* The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for: * Daily logging of tasks and activities via JIRA Service Desk * User and device onboarding * Providing end user support for various applications * Participation in team meetings and collaboration for upcoming projects * Providing onsite support for hardware and software upgrades * Providing prompt and courteous resolution to user requests and issues * Providing security, compliance and HIPAA checks at all practices In order to qualify, you must have: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field * MCSA, A+ , CISSP desirable * Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and electronic medical record systems helpful * Knowledge of physician practice management systems and workflow helpful * Minimum 3 years' experience with PC hardware and software, printers, notebooks, Macs, iPads, and mobile devices * Experience supporting Windows 10 and macOS * Experience with Active Directory * Experience with security and protection tools, antivirus and malware detection and removal * Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi * Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Citrix desirable * Knowledge of JIRA helpful * Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network gear as well as switches, routers, and firewalls desirable * Must own a reliable car and be able work remotely and independently * Local travel: up to 90% * Must be able to lift 50lbs Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including a rotating days/evenings and week-end schedule, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes (50% off).
