Be responsible for performing regular and preventive maintenance on a variety of systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, industrial automation, and manufacturing processes. Assists with other maintenance activities as needed or directed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance: Perform regular and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with manufacturing equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation.Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical components and systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, wiring, and control panels.Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety standards.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment performance reports.Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to support manufacturing operations and achieve production goals.Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.Professional Qualifications/Education RequirementsAssociate degree, technical degree/certification in electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance with a focus on electrical systems.Required Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, motors, drives, and PLCs.Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Hands-on experience with industrial automation and control systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is a plus.Understanding of maintenance standards and procedures.Excellent verbal and written communication.Quality orientation and attentive to detailGood manual dexteritySolid decision-making and problem-solving skillsCooperative and willing to assist others.Ability to work overtime as needed.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITIONEnvironmental conditions: Capability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise)Climbing: Physical capabilities to climb up/down ladders.Stooping: Bending downward and forward at the waist.
