Leading manufacturer of rolling ladders and work platforms seeks Maintenance Technician! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment within the facility. This role involves inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.In return, we offer:Competitive salary contingent on experienceHealth, dental, visionPTOWho You Are: Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with supervisors and other maintenance workers.What you will be doing:Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify issues.Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment. Understand the difference between three-phase and single-phase alternating current.Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment or programmable controllers.Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Operate, repair, and maintain overhead cranes, fork trucks, and prime movers.BenefitsPTO MedicalDentalVisionFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
