Line Cook/Prep Cook is responsible for every aspect of preparing high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Line cook reports to the Sous Chef. Daily expectations include but not limited to: Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and specifications. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies. Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized. Monitor inventory levels and replenish ingredients as needed. Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food orders. Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols. Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of food, utensils, and equipment. Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment as needed. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist with training new kitchen staff members as required. Requirements Previous experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately. Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds **Legal authorization to work in USA is a must**
