Executes preventative and corrective maintenance for processing and facilities equipment. Ensures equipment reliability to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization. Job Responsibilities * Setup, repair and PM semi-automated baggers, printers, scales and transport systems. * Setup, repair and PM automated tablet dispensers, labelers, cappers. * Perform basic diagnostic tests and preventive maintenance, in accordance with prescribed schedules; Adjust equipment and reset or calibrate systems and controls to specs. * Make recommendations for modifications to preventative maintenance procedures, spare parts inventory levels and components, and equipment/facilities improvements. * Identify maintenance and reliability opportunities that will improve quality, service, efficiency, safety and work environment. * Ensure maintenance related reporting requirements are followed. * Performs failure analyses of mechanical systems, presents recommendations for improvement and implements approved corrective actions. * Oversees and assists (as needed) outside vendors and contractors. * Complies with company policies and procedures and ensures compliance with state and federal agency requirements. * Trains and assists equipment operators as needed. * Operate forklift and scissor lift. Perform minor routine maintenance and repairs. * Fabrication and repair of equipment guards, covers, cladding and other components as needed. * Mechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts, drives and adjusting tension of belts, chains and conveyor systems * Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Education Level Area of Specialization (Marketing, Finance, Pharmacy, Engineering/IT, etc) Required or Preferred H.S.
