Maintenance Technician

We're hiring a Maintenance Tech! This position would be ideal for someone with strong maintenance skills in electronics, mechanical or electromechanical device. Why work at AstenJohnson? * Excellent health benefits! * 401K with 100% matching up to 6% * Employee Wellness Program * Stable and growing company where SAFETY'S first The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for: * Machine and general maintenance of mechanical and electrical work within the plant facility. * Maintaining records for all performed maintenance activities. * Assisting in the installation and/or repair of new equipment and machines. * Assisting in the calibration of plant equipment. Required Skills: * Skilled in electronics, mechanical or electromechanical device repair in a manufacturing setting. * Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English. * PLC or Drive work history preferred. * Promoting safety and good housekeeping practices. Education/Experience/Certification: * High School diploma or GED equivalent. * Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC certification and manufacturing experience desirable. * Familiar with Lean Sigma concepts. Effort & Working Conditions: Bending, stooping, and lifting 55 pounds daily is required. Standing, walking for 10+ hours of shift is required. Exposure to noise, warm temperatures, and industrial equipment. Must be able to wear all required safety equipment. This person may be asked to work during emergencies and plant shutdowns to provide necessary maintenance services.
