Right of Way Agent II

Overview The Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is seeking a Right of Way Agent for a position within the Acquisition Unit of the Right of Way Section. Daily duties will include working with property owners for the acquisition of rights needed for VTrans projects. Work may also include cross-training in our Legal Documents and Property Management section working with writing deeds and right-of-way research. The ability to learn how to determine land values, read plans, land records research, general contracting, paralegal and/or GIS skills are helpful. The ability to stay organized and work well with others are important, and knowledge of Microsoft products would be ideal. The main offices are located in Barre City, and the position may be eligible for telework, though it is not a fully remote position. Who May
