Qualifications This is a term position not to exceed 13 months. Term positions may be extended up to a maximum of 6 years, and MAY NOT be converted to permanent. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electrical Equipment Repairer ~ without more than normal supervision. Have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) providing repair to an electronic control system, inspecting electrical components within a wiring harness system, interpreting electrical blueprints or manuals, and selecting the proper materials or methods required for work assignments. Work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. ?????????????? Physical Effort: There is frequent lifting and carrying parts and harnesses, which may weigh up to 20 pounds. There are prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending. Working Conditions: Works in well lighted and heated areas. Subject to cuts while fabricating harnesses and electrical shock or burns while soldering, attaching connectors and performing tests. There is a possibility of falls while working from step ladders. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
